Our aim

• To foster camaraderie, mutual support and cooperation among international families, British families and friends living within the administrative area of Somerset (hereinafter called “the area of benefit”) and the host community at large.
• To promote the welfare and interest of members and their families.

Membership

• Membership shall be open to any individual who is living within or outside the area of benefit (or organisation) which is and remains sympathetic to the aims and objectives of the SIWA.
• There shall be two forms of membership: Full Members and Associate Members:
  • Full Members can be any person aged 18 or over, who are living within the area of benefit and are in full sympathy and will serve the aims and objectives of SIWA.
  • Any person below 18 years of age living within the area of benefit, person aged 18 or over who lives outside area of benefit, and all organisations, may be an associate member, who may participate in meetings and be active in organised events.
